Welcome Organizers!
First of all, almost anything will work if you give me enough time!
The following information helps if you want to be sure your design
gets created quickly and efficiently. Please read!
I use Macromedia Freehand 11, so that's the prefered format (any
earlier version will do). I can use Illustrator files, but ALL fonts
should be converted to paths/curves/objects or outlines. Adobe Photoshop
will also work, but please try to send a .tif or a .psd file. Adobe PDF's will
work too! Please try to convert all text on your documents. This is important.
If we don't get a vectorized version of the text, we will convert it ourselves
and it may appear a little different in your proof.
.jpg files also work great and it's helpful to include them as as a thumbnail
reference. Sometimes things won't carry over when opening a file in an alien
program, so it helps to have a secondary reference. Also, please merge all
layers in your design before you send it!
We have issues with anything done in InDesign, Powerpoint and have issues
with anything done in Word. If it is done in any of these programs,
please try to include a jpg.
When reviewing a proof, please make sure that everything is spelled
the way you want it, ESPECIALLY when something has a large amount of
text (ie top ten lists).
If you do not have email, please drop off a hard copy of the design to
our office at the address listed above.
I'm looking forward to designing your product!
Thanks Much,
Design Team
